No one really knows…

…what it feels like to carry a baby in your belly, via someone else's genetics, until you have done it.

I know. I have done it. TWICE.

In my ebook "Why I'm Glad My Eggs Didn't Work" I honor the pain and the beauty of infertility, and provide a source of hope for those looking to carry on this magical path to parenthood. It’s a book beyond clinical trials, data and research. It's a personal story about rising above your broken eggs and finding purpose and joy. It’s a place to find comfort in knowing you are truly seen and heard, and a sense of relief that it’s all going to be okay.

LIKE MANY WOMEN WHO ARE FACED WITH THE IDEA OF CONCEIVING VIA DONOR EGGS, WHAT WE NEED MOST IS hope.

I looked to my doctors, therapists, friends and family to tell me it was all going to be okay. No one was able to give me the perspective I needed. They tried their best to tell me what I needed to hear, but still I felt so lost. I was asking people for directions that hadn’t been where I was going. How are they supposed to know?

I needed to hear from someone who had been through this, that could tell me they didn’t have any regrets. I wanted to know that they were happy and had bonded with their baby. I wanted to hear that they were madly in love with their child and that their child loved them too.

I felt so alone in my grief. No one truly understood what it felt like to grieve my DNA getting passed on, not even my husband.

So, I Decided To Write My Very Own, Donor Egg Guide Book

It’s a book beyond clinical trials, data and research. It is a personal story about rising above your broken eggs and finding purpose and joy. It’s a place to find comfort in knowing you are truly seen and heard, and a sense of relief that it’s all going to be okay.

Come cry with me, laugh with me and celebrate the joy of finding your way to and through motherhood via someone else’s genetics. It’s definitely worth celebrating!

“The last two paragraphs of the final chapter had me ugly crying happy tears because I realized that my dream of a baby was actually something I could envision again.

This should be a mandatory read for everybody who is in that transition. Thank you for this book, Victoria. You are such a beautiful soul.”

DONOR EGGS CHANGED MY LIFE

After 8 years of infertility and 5 years of fertility treatments, in 2017, I finally got pregnant with the help of an egg donor and it was the absolute BEST thing that ever happened to me. The first time I heard her heart beat - it was the most familiar sound. The first time our eyes met - I knew I had loved her many moons ago, for thousands of years, in previous lives, on another planet, forever and ever ago.

And our love story doesn’t stop there! After several more attempts for a sibling met with failures and a miscarriage, we started all over with a new donor. I am now also the proudest mother of the most loving, intelligent, little boy! I now know that these two children were meant for me, and me for them.

They are the place my life begins and ends.
